COVID-19 Protocols

 

Coastal Aesthetics has prepared this page to inform our patients about our COVID-19 procedures.

All staff is fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus.  As of Friday, 8/20/21, there is a county wide mask mandate in all indoor settings.  This will be followed at our office.  Staff will be masked and you may remove yours during procedures where it is appropriate to provide treatments.

We are following procedures that allow us to keep our clients safe and healthy. We have sanitation time between patients to thoroughly sanitize and sterilize all treatment rooms and high touch areas. Our goal is to continue to give our clients exceptional care while keeping them safe in immaculate conditions.  Your Safety is Our Highest Priority!

Plan to receive neurotoxins (Botox, dysport or xeomin) or dermal filler treatments two weeks before the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine (or any vaccine) or two weeks after your second dose.

 

There have been isolated reports of patients who have had dermal filler injections experiencing swelling to the dermal filler injection area after receiving the COVID-19 vaccine. There are various reports of when the three known cases were injected with dermal filler in relation to their COVID-19 vaccine, from 2 days before to 6 months before. In all cases, the symptoms subsided with oral steroids and antihistamines and at least one of the three patients’ symptoms resolved with no treatment at all.  If you have any questions, please ask the provider during your consultation or feel free to email us at: theresa@coastalaestheticsilm.com.
