Dr. James Hoffman, DO FAAEM Medical Director
Dr. Hoffman is a board-certified emergency medicine physician since 2015. He has a special interest in advanced laser resurfacing, ultrasound-guided treatments, risk management, and education. He has completed preceptorships in advanced deep laser resurfacing for skin rejuvenation. He is certified in injectables as well.
Dr. Hoffman enjoys snowboarding, being outdoors, and spending time with his family.
Theresa Hoffman, PA-C – Advanced Injectables and Laser Specialist
Theresa Hoffman is a certified Physician Assistant since 2014. She completed her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA and entered the aesthetic field in 2017 with a focus on injectables and skin treatments. She has experience in both the Medspa and Plastic Surgery setting. Her focus is on natural results and preventative aging through injectables and advanced laser treatments. During her professional career, she has grown in her skill set, attended national trainings with some of the top injectors and aesthetic specialists in the country, and even offers trainings to newer injectors entering the field of aesthetic medicine. She is a KOL (Key Opinion Leader) and Luminary with Sciton technology. Her treatment goals are to provide a comprehensive care plan to provide natural results and youthful aging. She is married with 3 young daughters and loves living in this coastal community.
Shauna Autenrieth, Clinic Coordinator
Shauna recently relocated from Massachusetts to North Carolina with her husband and two teenagers, and is loving the southern life. She has over 20 years of experience in the aesthetic and makeup artistry industry. She is passionate about educating clients about skincare and helping them improve the quality of their skin. When she isn’t pampering her clients, you can find her in a dance class or walking her dog Daisy on the beach.
Sealey Scott — Medical Assistant
Sealey is originally from Whiteville, NC. She has lived in coastal North Carolina her entire life. She is currently finishing her prerequisite classes for Physician Assistant school and will graduate from UNC Wilmington in the Spring of 2024 with a BS in Biology. She has three years of experience as a medical assistant and is very excited to enter the aesthetics industry. Growing up by the beach and always spending time in the sun, Sealey has a special interest in sun damage prevention and treatment. She enjoys concerts, wakeboarding, and spending time with her dog Banks.
Maddie Stapleton – Clinical Coordinator & Marketing Assistant
Maddie is originally from Dayton, Ohio and moved to the Wilmington, NC area in 2022. After graduating from the Aveda Fredric’s Institute in 2021 with her Aesthetics License, she began her career in the industry. Maddie loves all things skin and believes everyone should feel confident in their own. In her free time she enjoys spending time outside with her husband and Goldendoodle, Mabel, playing pickleball and participating in any crafty activity.
Brittiny Brothers, RN
Hi, my name is Brittiny Brothers. I have been a nurse for 14 years. I have two kids Jack and Mae, a husband, Justin, and two energetic goldendoodles. In my free time, I like to spend time with my family, do anything active outdoors, and travel. Aesthetics has been a long-time passion of mine and is my calling. I love caring for people while giving them confidence and making them feel beautiful inside and out. My goal is to continue to provide excellent and safe aesthetic procedures through cutting-edge education and challenging myself so that I can be the best injector for my patients. I am so excited to start at Coastal Aesthetics and meet all the patients along the journey.
